Fortnite has finally added Dwayne Johnson to the game and wouldn’t it be wonderful to use “The Rock” to be the last man standing.

The reveal brought to a conclusion months of intense speculation about the actor’s inclusion. As Fortnite‘s Chapter 2, “The End”, came to an end and laid the foundations for Chapter 3, there was also a big reveal.

Famed vigilante The Foundation was unmasked as none other than Dwayne Johnson, complete with armour design made after his Samoan-style family tattoo. Even his iconic eyebrow was included in his gaming avatar.

The Foundation is the leader of The Seven, an organization dedicated to keeping the Imagined Order (IO) from abusing the nexus of all reality in Fortnite. The character originally appeared with a helmet hiding his identity in Chapter 2 but now the jig is up.

The Foundation played an important role in “The End” event. As the Cube Queen prepared a final attack on the forces of good, The Foundation arrived at a familiar bunker deep beneath the island’s surface, just in time to save Jonesy from termination at the hands of the sinister Dr. Sloan. Jonesy and The Foundation then made their way to the bunker’s control room, where they prepared to take us “to the other side.”

As is always the case with these finales, Fortnite is now down for a while as Epic Games prepares for Chapter 3 to begin. The island is completely upside down as players await an entirely new map. Epic has set up a new website that will reveal the new map once enough players have used the hashtag #Fortniteflipped on Twitter, so get tweeting.

Some fans think that an updated version of the OG Fortnite map could be on the way, although it’s unclear at this time.
