Frankie Muniz has recently taken to Twitter to create a thread detailing a sequel idea for one of his most beloved and iconic characters.

The Disney child actor, Frankie Muniz, recently attempted to revitalize his most popular character, Agent Cody Banks, on Twitter. The Twitter thread caught some significant traction on the social media platform while fans in the comment section had mostly positive reactions with some light criticism. The first tweet seems more like a stoner’s rambling idea than an organized pitch for a movie.

Yo… Agent Cody Banks was a bad ass. And I was Cody Banks. That’s bad ass. I wonder if 36 year old Cody Banks is sitting in bed eating Fritos while shaking his gut, thinking “I really let myself go” like I’m doing right now. What do you do after you saved the world twice at 16?”

Could this possibly be picked up by a Disney? While the studio is yet to make a comment on the idea, many fans seem to like the idea of what Muniz is saying. Muniz continues to further formulate the idea, talking about what specific niche the character could fill amongst the current movie landscape of action stars such as Batman, James Bond, and Captain America.

“Imagine, you’re in trouble and hoping someone will save you. Will it be Batman, James Bond, Captain America? No. It’s dad bod Agent Cody Banks that pulled a muscle putting on his shoes.”

Muniz follows with one final Tweet, “Aging Cody Banks,” which would presumably work as the theoretical movie’s title. Fans of the Agent Cody Banks movies took to his comments where they added ideas of their own and made general comments about their excitement over the idea.

One fan even made one page of a screenplay for the movie, which Frankie Muniz quote Tweeted with the caption, “This is gold.”

Frankie Muniz starred in both Agent Cody Banks (2003) and Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London (2004). There has been no Agent Cody Banks movies since the second movie came out 18 years ago.
