One of the greatest and most loved musicals of all time is heading to Sydney. Fiddler On The Roof stars superstars Anthony Warlow and Sigrid Thornton, as well as ARIA Award winner Lior.
Set in Russia at the turn of the last century, it tells the heartwarming, sometimes funny, yet deeply moving story of a family that has its traditional life turned upside down as it attempts to ensure its own survival in a shtetl (a small Jewish community in Russian-controlled Poland). The celebrated score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick features such famous songs as ‘Matchmaker’ and ‘If I Were A Rich Man’.
