Twenty-one years after releasing their debut LP Marvin the Album, legendary Australian alt-rock group Frente are re-releasing it in the form of a deluxe 2CD/ digital reissue.

To accompany the re-release the band are also hitting the road to perform a string of shows across the nation with two intimate nights at The Basement penciled in for the Sydney leg on the 30th and 31st of May. The quirky group didn’t fit the typical mold for international success story but they managed to sell 1.2 million copies of their debut album worldwide, being certified platinum in their homeland. Classic hits such as “Ordinary Angels” and “Labour of Love” as well as the ever-popular New Order cover “Bizarre Love Triangle” allowed the band to tour with the legends the likes of Alanis Morissette, Beautiful South and Everything But The Girl. The band will be joined by the pop/folk songstress that is Maples, who’s soaring melodies and uplifting arrangements have gained her a serious reputation on the Sydney scene. Tickets are on sale through moshtix now, so don’t miss out and grab one!
