Former FWAW contestant Erin Dore has lashed out at Farmer Benjamin Jackson for leading her on after the show.
Erin was one of Ben’s finalists before he quit the show due to health reasons without making his final pick. The reality star told So Dramatic! that he reached out to her on social media after leaving the show. She also left a note for Ben with her phone number on it which he used to contact her.
“I slipped a note into his bedroom as we were leaving, just with my phone number saying, ‘I hope our story doesn’t end here, it’d be a real shame, but I know the pressure you’ve been under, blah blah blah’.”
Erin said after the initial contact the pair were “texting for a few months”.
“So we were just kind of texting and offering each other support and stuff,” she said, adding it “wasn’t just friendzone kind of text messaging”.
“Then all of a sudden, I just never heard from him again,” she added.
Erin told the publication that she was confused as to why Benjamin reached out to her and led her on if he wasn’t interested.
“My question has always been, ‘Why the hell reach out to me in the first place if you didn’t want to give it a go once you got better?’” she said
“‘Why bother getting in contact with me if you didn’t want to give it a whirl?’”
She added: “It got to a point where I was like, ‘This is bullsh*t, I can’t believe an adult would do this.’
“Given that I sacrificed so much of my time and my life to go on this show and get to know him. You know… I was really p*ssed off.”
