Gasoline Pony, along with Urchin Books, is set to host a commemorative movie night event in honour of the legendary American journalist and author Hunter S. Thompson.

The ten-year anniversary of Thompson’s death will be on February 20, and so the following Wednesday February 25, the Gasoline Pony will be showing the semi-biopic of his life, Where The Buffalo Roam, featuring Bill Murray in the title role.

To help preserve the memory of the man who popularised Gonzo journalism, there will be gonzo-themed foodstuffs and cocktails on offer. In fact, how someone made gonzo-themed foodstuffs deserves a news article all of its own.

This themed night will be held on Wednesday February 25 at the Gasoline Pony. For more information visit the Gasoline Pony’s website.
