Ride The Eagle stars Jake Johnson (New Girl, Let’s Be Cops), alongside Hollywood icon Susan Sarandon (Blackbird, Thelma & Louise), as well as the critically acclaimed – and everyone’s favourite fictional dad thanks to Juno – J.K. Simmons (Juno, Whiplash). Suffice to say, the cast alone has us eager and awaiting for this one to come out.
Co-producers also include Joe Hardesty (Dead to Me, No Activity), Huey M. Park (The Good Wife, The Affair, No Activity), and Jake Johnson too. Need we say more? Released by Maslow Entertainment, Ride The Eagle is set to be one of the funniest films of the year. And heck do we all need a good laugh right now!
Set in the picturesque Yosemite National Park, Ride The Eagle is a relatable, light-hearted story about reflecting on your life, purpose, family and relationships.

When Leif’s (Jake Johnson) estranged mother Honey (Susan Sarandon) dies, she leaves him a ‘conditional inheritance’. Before he can take ownership of her picturesque Yosemite cabin, he has to complete her elaborate and sometimes dubious to-do list. Leif steps into Honey’s wild world as she tries to make amends from beyond the grave in this hilarious and heartfelt comedy.
Set to hit the big screens on Thursday, September 9th in QLD, WA, SA, TAS and NT, and from Thursday, September 23rd for ACT, VIC and regional NSW, we’re giving 10 lucky movie fans (and 10 very lucky friends) the chance to see this heartfelt comedy when it arrives.
