This December, Sydney’s Bondi Beach is getting a splash of something magical, courtesy of Novotel.

To celebrate the highly anticipated release of, Wicked, in cinemas now starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, Novotel is bringing a two-day-only installation, to Bondi on December 14th and 15th. 

The pop-up will transport onlookers into the magical world of Novotel and Wicked in a family-friendly activation that’s part immersive experience, part photo-op, and entirely fun, all housed within a Glinda-inspired bubble!

Inside will be a fully styled Novotel hotel room with more than a few playful winks to the new film. Of course, you can expect green and pink bedding to channel Elphaba and Glinda. Plus, with a broomstick tucked in the corner and even a copy of a Shiz University book on the bedside table, the setup is designed to feel like you’ve been transported straight to the Land of Oz. 

Families and fans alike will be able to step inside, explore the bubble, and even design their own personalised Christmas ornament to take home. With a backdrop of Bondi’s iconic beachfront, this will be one of the most unique events to hit Sydney this summer.

In addition to the pop up experience, visitors can also enter for a chance to win a magical Wicked escape:

  • Four nights at a Novotel hotel in Australia for a family of four, including breakfast and flights to your destination within Australia 
  • Up to $1000 in food and beverage credit
  • Double passes to see Wicked in cinemas
