Gogglebox Australia star and podcaster Yvie Jones has revealed that she was rejected from both OnlyFans and Raya when she tried to join the platforms.

Yvie made the revelation while changing with her co-host Angie Kent on their podcast Two Girls One Pod.

“I have been looking into OnlyFans,” she told Angie. “I have been rejected.”

Kent responded with a laugh and compared the admission to when Yvie was rejected from the exclusive dating app Raya.

“Raya! I got rejected from there. I just get rejected from all the sexy time!” Yvie laughed.

She continued, “No, I got rejected [from OnlyFans] because you have to prove who you are,” she said. “They have to make sure that you’re a real person. And you have to put a photo of your I.D. next to you.”

“I can’t see without my glasses. So I’m trying to take a photo and it’s all out of blur and I’m sending it off. They’re rejecting it. I’m sending another one across. Rejecting it. So I finally done a third one. Let’s see, third times a charm.”

Yvie shot to fame when she appeared alongside Angie on Gogglebox Australia from 2015 to 2018. Kent went on to star as the lead in The Bachelorette in 2019. The same year both Angie and Yvie competed in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia.

Though OnlyFans only launched in 2016, over the past year or two much attention has been drawn toward it in the media, predominantly because popular Aussie reality stars have been creating accounts to cash in on their 15 minutes of fame.

Some other Australian reality stars who have joined the content platform include Olivia Frazer (MAFS), Dom Carlarco (MAFS), Jackson Lonie (MAFS), Jessie Wynter (Love Island), Jessika (MAFS) Edyn (Love Island), Booka (MAFS), Vanessa (Love Island) and Shelby (Love Island).
