Attention beer-loving ‘Strayans: The weekend is so close you can almost taste the cold bois now. Here’s how you can get them delivered for free.
Green Beacon Brewing Co, the Brisbane Brewpub which went national online amid COVID-19, is now offering free, same-day, Brisbane metro delivery. That’s with no minimum order, and no contact delivery, seven days a week.
The offer for locals who jump on their online store before 12:30pm will receive cold, hand-delivered beer the very same afternoon. And if you’re not in, or around Brisbane Metro, Green Beacon is still offering free door-to-door courier services nationwide (you just select standard shipping at checkout).

The Green Beacon Brewing Co is on a roll lately
Earlier this month it partnered with Rolling Stone Australia for its global In My Room series, which showcases artists all over the world performing to very, very intimate audiences in lockdown.
Launching Sunday June 14th, the In My Room series will see Brisbane alt-pop masterminds Cub Sport perform a special set on Rolling Stone Aus‘ IGTV from their home (spoiler: it features Tim Nelson and Sam Netterfield’s cute fur babies Miss and Eve).
The following week will see Adelaide’s Bad//Dreems take over the IGTV on Sunday June 21st for their own In My Room performance.
The third act to take part will be Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever on June 28th, and the final act for the Green Beacon-presented In My Room series is Sydney duo Lime Cordiale. The Leimbach brothers Oli and Louis are readying the release of new LP 14 Steps To A Better You in July, and are still reeling off the back of having four tracks in the triple j Hottest 100.
