Halloween is just around the corner, so to celebrate the spooky occasion, we’re giving six lucky readers the chance to win a bunch of this year’s top home release horror films on DVD or Blu-ray – the choice is yours!

Got your plans for Halloween sorted? With their home entertainment releases set to hit DVD and Blu-ray in October, this year you can settle in for a horror-filled movie marathon with up to five scary flicks up for grabs. We’re giving six lucky readers the chance to take home a bundle of terrifying horror films on DVD or Blu-ray – just let us know which you’d prefer!

The spookily-splendid horror films in the bundle include:

The Power

London, 1974. As Britain prepares for electrical blackouts to sweep across the country, trainee nurse Val (Rose Williams, Sanditon) arrives for her first day at the crumbling East London Royal Infirmary. With most of the patients and staff evacuated to another hospital, Val is forced to work the night shift in the empty building. Within these walls lies a deadly secret, forcing Val to face her own traumatic past in order to confront the malevolent force that’s intent on destroying everything around her.

Special Agent Emanuel Ritter leads a police investigation into a series of shocking deaths. But after a priest from the Vatican finds a link between the murders and an ancient demon, a descent into horror ensues.

Fried Barry

Barry is a drug-addled, abusive bastard who – after yet another bender – gets abducted by aliens. Barry takes a backseat as an alien visitor assumes control of his body and takes it for a joyride through Cape Town. What follows is an onslaught of drugs, sex and violence as our alien tourist enters the weird and wonderful world of humankind.

After a mysterious group of individuals breaks into Laura’s home and attempts to steal her eight-year-old son David, the two of them flee town in search of safety. But soon after the failed kidnapping, David becomes extremely ill, suffering from increasingly sporadic psychosis and convulsions. Following her maternal instincts to save him, Laura commits unspeakable acts to keep him alive but soon, she must decide how far she is willing to go to save her son.

Entries who opt for Blu-ray will also take home a fifth title:

With her marriage about to implode, Miriam returns to her hometown to seek solace in the comfort of her younger sister and brother-in-law. But one evening, a tiny slip in judgement leads to a catastrophic betrayal, leaving Miriam shocked, reeling, and furious. Believing her sister to be in danger, Miriam decides she must protect her at all costs, but the price of revenge is high and she is not prepared for the toll it takes as she begins to emotionally and psychologically unravel.
