In absolutely absurd news, Aussie icons Hamish & Andy have gone out and found a girl who can guess the perfect time food needs to reheat in the microwave. Mia has been dubbed “The Microwave Queen” by the duo, and they’ve even put out a video of the young Aussie showing off her skills.
Check out the video below in which the boys test if Mia is the real deal with a piece of pizza, baked beans, and a stir fry. It’s quite hilarious how serious she takes it, but according to Hamish & Andy she nailed it.
The great thing about this entire concept is that technically there is no perfect time for food in a microwave, most of it comes down to personal preference. Also it would be dependant on the microwave being used. We’ve all had that awkward moment when we use a different microwave to make popcorn and it burns. Such embarrassment!
Also, it feels odd that they didn’t test her abilities on a bag of microwave popcorn. That’s pretty much the ultimate test of microwave skills. The video is still pretty funny though, and it’s sure to stir up some drama with her only reheating the piece of pizza for 26 seconds.
