Harry Styles recently joined the cast of the upcoming film, My Policeman.
My Policeman, based on the 2012 novel by Bethan Roberts depicts the story of a gay police officer in 1950s Brighton, with Styles set to portray this role – not without reportedly dying his hair blonde first. The film is also set at a time when homosexuality was illegal.
Styles will play the character, Tom Burgess who is married to The Crown star Emma Corrin, who also played Princess Diana, who in this film will be Marion. Not before long, Burgess finds himself in a love affair with museum curator, Patrick Hazelwood.
And now according to the most recent reports on the movie, things are really going to heat up, with Styles set to do the devil’s dance onscreen, with Luther actor, David Dawson, who portrays the role of Burgess’ lover, Hazelwood.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, movie insiders revealed, “Harry will be having sex on screen and they want it to look as real as possible.” They added, “The plan is to shoot two romps between Harry and David, then another scene where Harry is naked on his own.”
And the spiciest part? Apparently, “Not much is going to be left to the imagination.”
The source also revealed that Styles is reportedly very excited about the scene and is looking at it as a challenge. They said, “Harry is throwing himself into this new role and is really excited about the challenge, even though it’s a daunting task.”
“He always wants to do things that people wouldn’t expect and challenge what people think about him – and this film will really do that.”
Filming for My Policeman has now officially kicked off, with dedicated Twitter page, ‘My Policeman Updates’ keeping the hype very real. In other film news, Styles has also been seen working on the set of Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller, Don’t Worry Darling.
