I don’t know about you guys but this cold snap has me suffering and the only remedy I’ve found for this painful, awful chill has been binge-watching TV and eating oatmeal at an ungodly hour.
As the omnipresent threat of another lockdown looms we’re certainly going to be spending more time cooped up on our couch, with a preferably with a hot toddy in hand, watching so much TV that our streaming services ask us if we’re still there.
Amazon Prime has unveiled all that will be hitting their platform this month, and there are some very ripe pickings.
First and foremost, ever single season of The X Files will be arriving. If you haven’t yet had the privilege of immersing yourself in the world of Mulder and Scully I am so, furiously jealous. The things I would do to have a little alien beam down from mars and perform a gentle memory loss experiment on me so I could witness this campy, cult sci-fi bit of deliciousness in all its glory for the first time again.
Another highlight is the addition of Mad Men. Inarguably one of the greatest shows of all time. Also a series I completely resent because it led to a resurged interest in mid-century modern furniture and now I can’t find swindle a parker chair for under $300 from any shifty Facebook Marketplace seller.
They also have a bunch of Top Gear and Fast & Furious content dropping if cars going vroom vroom appeals to your animal instincts.
