Binge really does treat Australians well judging by their September lineup. Several exciting films and TV shows are arriving to join an already stacked collection of content.
With much of the country still in lockdown, it’s lucky that these new selections are high quality given that they’ll need to keep viewers entertained through next month.

What We Do In The Shadows Season 3 (September 3rd)
One of the funniest shows in recent years, the mockumentary comedy horror based on Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s New Zealand film of the same name returns for a much-anticipated third season. The four main vampire housemates are played by some of the most hilarious actors in the business, including Matt Berry (Toast of London, The IT Crowd) and Kayvan Novak (Four Lions, Fonejacker).

Gangs of New York
Even when Martin Scorsese (relatively) fails, he still doesn’t miss. Gangs of New York was an overwrought epic, filled with terrible accents and overbearing violence. Yet Daniel Day-Lewis commits in the role of ‘Bill the Butcher’ as only he could, a wild-eyed performance that is worth watching the film for alone. Set in 1863 as tensions between gangs in New York were out of control, there’s impressive set design and dense historical detail.
