Watching stars like Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan return in the Neighbours finale in one of the actual Ramsay Street homes? It really doesn’t get more Aussie than that.

Thanks to Booking.com, a two-night stay at 28 Ramsay Street is on offer from July 27th-28th, which is when the final ever episode of the iconic soap opera is set to air on 10 and 10Peach.

And wait, who’s that sipping a cuppa in the living room? Why it’s Alan Fletcher, who played Dr. Karl Kennedy on Neighbours for almost three decades! He’ll be on hand during your stay with a bbq and beers in the home’s backyard, and he sounds excited by the prospect.

“Handing over the keys to this humble abode will be bittersweet but I’m so pleased that new memories can now be made for lucky Neighbours fans, thanks to listing it on Booking.com,” he said.

“I’m so excited to be able to share this memorable piece of my time on the show with a fan and say goodbye to Dr Karl Kennedy by enjoying a classic Aussie bbq and a beer.”

The fictional 28 Ramsay Street is actually located at 5 Pin Oak Court, Vermont South, far into Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs.

It won’t be easy to secure the special stay though. The first person to reserve the experience on Booking.com will triumph, with the booking opening next Tuesday, July 12th at 11am AEST. The better news is that the booking will cost just $28 (get it?), which going by usual Melbourne rates is very good indeed.

The decision to axe Neighbours was sensationally made earlier this year, despite a huge number of people still watching it in the U.K..

Kylie recently opened up about the emotions of returning to the soap. “I wanted to be reminded of being that 19-year-old again when I would get into my Datsun and fang it to Vermont South or the Network Ten studios at Nunawading [in Melbourne where the show is filmed],” the singer said. “It was very sweet to be with Jason and to think, ‘Wow, we’re still around’.”
