Given the choice between creating work or having a home, classical actor/singer Glenn McKenzie chose to create a new solo theatre work,Evensong, while living in his car.

Evensong explores gender and sexuality, sanity and folly, aging and death, all through famous lierature and music from the Elizabethan and Jacobean eras. It also twists it through the lens of the modern day, taking classic composers such as Dowland and Purcell and re-interpreting them through pop, punk, jazz and EDM.

Evensong is playing at 107 Projects from Thursday February 26 – Saturday January 28 as part of the 2015 Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival. Tickets are $20+bf and available online.
