Local hip hop troupeHorrorshowhave announced a series of headline performances in the lead-up to the release of their new albumKing Amongst Many,including an all-ages show at theMetro TheatreonFriday September 20.

Horrorshow originally burst onto the scene when their debut albumThe Grey Spacegarnered an Aria nomination, before their follow-up LP,The Space In Me, was featured as both triple j’s ‘Album of the Week’ and FBi Sunsets’ feature album. It’s been a four year wait but Horrorshow are now finally set to release their new record onAugust 2, having already launched the leadoff single ‘Unfair Lottery’, a catchy and soulful number that’s been backed by critics and listeners alike. Horrorshow will be supported by New Zealand hip hop crewHome Brew, whose 2012 self-titled debut album topped the NZ charts, andJimblah, who is due to release his new album on Elefant Traks in September.
