HBO’s Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon has taken the internet by storm. But it wouldn’t be GOT without some incest.

In the new series, we’ve seen a complex relationship between Matt’s Smith Daemon Targaryen and his niece Rhaenyra. I say complex, I mean sexual. 

Through a mutual misery, the two have increasingly grown fond of eachother and culminated in their marriage in the latest episode ‘Driftmark’. 

In a recent Twitter post, the internet is losing it over the accusation that Matt Smith is to blame for a “massive rise in ‘step uncle’ searches” on Pornhub.

“We have reason to believe that this is associated with Matt Smith’s House of the Dragon character,” the post reads. 

However, with minimal investigation you can unearth that its source The Kernel News is a satire site that regularly exploits the patterns of internet behaviour. 

Regardless, the responses to the ‘report’ have been hilarious.
