Greta Gerwig’s upcoming Barbie film is still a year away from hitting cinemas, but it’s already captured the zeitgeist in a massive way. Add in Euphoria star Zendaya to the mix? That might just cause Film Twitter to combust.

A picture of Margot Robbie and Zendaya wearing pink outfits together went viral yesterday, purporting to show the pair on the set of Barbie. “ZENDAYA AND MARGOT ROBBIE?!!?” was the shocked caption.

Zendaya hasn’t been confirmed as a member of the film’s cast, and many commented on the picture’s clear inaccuracies. “I like that Zendaya doesn’t have legs,” hilariously noted someone, posting a zoomed in version of the image. Other people pointed out that Zendaya recently wore the all-pink outfit to Paris Fashion Week.

Others, meanwhile, couldn’t control themselves at the slim possibility of Tom Holland’s other half actually being in Barbie. “Why folks play with my emotions like that,” cried a fan. “These photoshops are going to send me into cardia arrest,” someone else hyperbolically wrote.

Not that even Zendaya’s require in the already seriously stacked Barbie cast: SNL legends Kate McKinnon and Will Ferrell, Ugly Betty‘s America Ferrara, Marvel actor Simu Liu, comedy stars Issa Rae and Jason Demetriou, and Sex Education‘s Emma Mackey and Ncuti Gatwa are all confirmed to be starring in the film.

It’s a good time to fake a picture of Zendaya in Barbie because clips of the film have been completely inescapable in recent weeks. The hype for the film has almost gotten out of control, with Film Twitter overjoyed at Gosling’s delirious shrieks and bleached blonde hair, Robbie punching people, and the pair’s luridly bright outfits.

With the film still a year away from release, there’s the danger that the incessant memes and footage may ruin the film before it’s even out.
