Ukelele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro is coming to town for a Bluesfest sideshow next April.
The national tour comes on the back of his latest album, Grand Ukelele, which features production credits from well-known producer Alan Parsons (Dark Side of the Moon, Abbey Road). Shimabukuro first found fame with his YouTube rendiiton of George Harrison’s ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’, leading to collabroations with the likes of Jimmy Buffet, Yo-Yo Ma, Cyndi Lauper, Ziggy Marley and many more.
Jake Shimabukuro will play The Basement on Thursday April 9. Tickets go on sale Monday November 10 at 9am through bluesfesttouring.com.au.
