It seems as though Janelle Han was destined for reality TV fame in 2023, as she was cast for both MAFS and The Bachelors.

Janelle, who is ‘married’ to Adam Seed on MAFS has revealed on Pedestrian TV’s We’ve done the MAFS podcast that she was also cast on The Bachelors, and had to choose between the two reality shows.

“ What happened was I had ended a long-term relationship, but it’s one of those relationships where you check out way earlier than you really think you have,” she explained about how she came to be offered both shows.

Janelle continued, “The Bachelor [casting team] reached out to my social media agency [about me]. And so I was like, ‘okay, well, Yolo, I’m going to do it. I’m single now and I clearly don’t know how to choose my men’.”

“So I applied for bachelor and I thought, ‘okay, well, if I’m going to apply for bachelor, I’m going to apply for the show that I actually watch’. Which is Married at First Sight. And, I actually got into both of them.

“It was crazy. And I thought, ‘okay, if I’m going to do this once-in-a-lifetime experience, I want to, at least, if I can’t find love, I want to at least learn something about myself’. And I think MAFS is a really good experiment that teaches you a lot about yourself.”

Janelle confirmed that the season of The Bachelor she was cast on, was the most recent The Bachelors season with the three leads Jed McIntosh, Felix Von Hofe and Thomas Malucelli.

“I reckon I would have gotten paired with Felix because I play basketball,” she told the hosts.

When asked if she would have “liked” Felix, Janelle replied: “definitely not”.
