The Fast and the Furious franchise has officially confirmed that Jason Momoa will be in the upcoming Fast 10 movie.

“The Fast Fam keeps getting bigger. Welcome, Jason Momoa,” the Fast Saga posted on their Twitter account early this morning.

It’s been widely rumoured that Momoa will be playing opposite Vin Diesel as a villian in the film, which is set to be conclusion of the saga and will be released in two parts.

While Diesel and many of the other familiar faces from the franchise – like  Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris – are set to appear in the upcoming movies, Dwayne Johnson has made it very clear that he won’t be returning.

Diesel even made a public please for Johnson to start in the upcoming instalments, one that The Rock quickly shut down.

“Vin’s recent public post was an example of his manipulation… We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding,” he said.

Momoa has been acting in high profile TV Shows and movies for almost two decades. However, it was his part as Khal Drogo in HBO’s Game of Thrones that really made him become a household name.
