It’s been three long years since Aussie comedian Jim Jefferies has graced us with a stand-up tour, but now the expat is set to make his return Down Under for a string of what will undoubtedly be hilarious shows in June and July 2021.

Fans are in for a treat as one of our favourite cheeky stand-up comedians brings his hilarious routines to a slew of intimate theatre stages, meaning you’ll be able to get up close and personal to witness Jefferies’ hilarity in its purest form.

With a monumental career spanning two decades and an hour-plus of new material every time he hits the stage, Jefferies’ unapologetic, no-bullshit approach is famously electric, with his forthcoming shows apparently set to cover everything from politics to celebrities, gun control to religion, family, sex and much, much more.

With his unique, in-your-face social commentary, Sydney-raised Jefferies is undeniably one of the most provocative faces on the global comedy scene.

His acclaimed sitcom Legit aired for two seasons to a diehard fanbase, while his smash hit Comedy Central weekly topical talk show The Jim Jefferies Show became one of the most talked-about TV programs worldwide for three years running following its 2017 debut.

In 2019, he was even awarded ‘Stand-Up Comedian of the Year’ at 2019’s Just for Laughs Festival.

In true Jim Jefferies form the tickets for the shows sold like hotcakes, so he’s gone and bloody added more dates. Jefferies will be playing an additional show at Brisbane’s Convention & Exhibition Centre on Saturday 3 July (8.30pm). Whilst Sydney fans will now be treated to a sixth and final Sydney performance, taking place on Sunday 11 July (8.30 pm) at Hordern Pavilion.

Unfortunately, those in Melbourne will have to wait a while. Patience is pleasures greatest advocate. Jim’s two sold-out dates at Plenary, MCEC have been rescheduled to Friday 1 April 2022.

Jefferies’ upcoming national tour will kick off with three marquee performances in Sydney, followed by more headline shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, with tickets going on sale Thursday 13 May at 11 am via Frontier Touring.

Set to join him on tour for his Aussie shows is Amos Gill, who was the winner of the Weekly Award for Best Comedy at this year’s Perth Fringe World and one of the hottest tickets at Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, picking up 5-star reviews and selling out shows.

It sounds like it’s sent to be a cracker of a show, so get your tix quick before they sell out!
