KFC recently announced a special 11-course degustation, completely classing up their usual menu.

On the menu will be potatoes and gravy reimagined, with a gravy candle melting into a pool, enjoyed with a potato bun for dipping. You’ll also be able to enjoy the famous Twisters with pearl-barley pearl-barley risotto, sun-dried tomato, pumpkin and Chicken Tenders.

Oh, and a literal Tongue Twister with chicken, tomato, lettuce and pepper mayo, which will come with a stencil recreation of the likeness of Colonel Sanders (yes, you’re encouraged to lick it).

Perhaps the wildest thing on the menu, though, is a spin on KFC’s original drumsticks, which will come sprinkled in gold. Talk about having rich tastes. Wine, of course, is a given.

The unique menu is only available for three days, from April 1st to April 3rd (we’ve checked and it’s not an April Fool’s Day prank), but it does’t sound like Jimmy Fallon will be hastily jetting over from the U.S. to try out the high-end menu.

The talk show host discussed KFC’s fine dining restaurant during his recent monologue, expressing his incredulity at the venture. “Guys, get this. KFC Australia is launching an 11-course fine dining menu, with a wine pairing,” he said.

“Most fine dining meals don’t come with a spork,” he added to howls of laughter from the audience. Not that KFC will be caring about the mockery from one late night comedian: it’s been revealed that the current waitlist for their fine dining joint stretches to around 20,000 people, so they better be coating those drumsticks in gold at a rapid pace.
