The controversial star of the Netflix hit Tiger King, Joe Exotic, has revealed on Twitter that he has prostate cancer.

The outspoken reality TV personality took to Twitter to share the news and has begged American President Joe Biden to let him out of prison so that he can get proper medical care.

“John Phillips [his lawyer] has received my medical records from FMC Fort Worth and my PSA count came back very high for prostate cancer. The prison has approved testing to verify what stage it is in,” Exotic began his tweet.

“My body is tired, I have lost a tremendous amount of weight, the mouth sores it’s not just city cops out of control with corruption, but his very own Department of Justice and make this right and sign that pardon that Trump left behind so I can go home and get proper medical care and proper food. Thank you for all the love and support,” he finished the message on his official account on Friday.

Exotic followed up the somber news with an update this morning in which he shared that he has an appointment with an oncologist scheduled.

“Update: I have an appointment on the 27th with the oncologist and June 1 with the urologist. Now they report a biopsy will also be scheduled on a tumor on my right side below my ribs. Also scheduling a colonoscopy and endoscopy to find everything,” he tweeted.

However, despite Exotic’s revelations, his lawyer, Philips, told the New York Post today that Exotic has not yet been officially diagnosed with prostate cancer and is “still awaiting a biopsy”.

Philips also told NY Post that it’s too premature to say Exotic has prostate cancer, but his “doctors are saying he has all the signs [of prostate cancer]”.

Exotic was incarcerated at Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth in March 2020 to serve a 22-year sentence for violating wildlife laws as well as for a 2017 murder-for-hire plot to kill his longtime enemy Carole Baskin.

The big cat lover has been gunning for a presidential pardon to be released from jail since early this year. Exotic was so certain that he would receive the pardon from Donald Trump in his final days in office, that his team said a limousine was parked near the prison to escort him home.
