In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan bragged that his subscribers went up by 2 million during his N-word/Covid controversy.

Joe Rogan recently had a sitdown with British political commentator Douglas Murray, author of a book titled, The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam, which is about the supposed destruction of European society by immigrants and in particular, Islamic immigrants.

The clip starts off with Murray offering praise to Rogan for his brave passage through the tumultuous waters of grifting his audience with misinformation.

“You have been put through the wringer since we last met,” Murray says. “They did a number on you. Wow.”

Rogan then responds by touting how his subscriptions went up massively, something he seemed quite proud of.

“It’s interesting, my subscriptions went up massively — that’s what’s crazy,” Rogan replies. “During the height of it all, I gained 2 million subscribers. … Yeah, [the media] went for it. It’s also fortunate that the people who went for it were CNN. They’re so untrustworthy, and people know how biased they are and socially weird their anchors are.”

“He continued to specifically target CNN, critiquing the media company for claiming he took “horse dewormer” when he took the version of Ivermectin intended for human consumption. He famously announced he had used Ivermectin when he contracted COVID-19 last year, despite the FDA advising against it. The drug is typically used to treat parasites, head lice, and skin conditions such as rosacea.”

Rogan often used the claim that Ivermectin won the Nobel Prize in medicine to defend his promotion of the drug, despite, once again, its success coming from winning the Nobel Prize for parasitic infections such as river blindness and the FDA specifically recommending against it. Ivermectin is also what’s known as an anti-bacterial drug, whereas SARS Covid-19 is a virus.

The comedian and podcaster next went on to talk about CNN’s laughable attempt at launching a streaming service.

“They spent $300 million dollars, they got 10,000 subscribers,” he said of CNN, referring to its short-lived streaming service CNN+. “Imagine the hubris of thinking that something that people don’t want for free…that you’re going to charge money for it.”

Rogan previously commented on the surfacing of a clip of him repeatedly saying the N-word, despite later dismissing the clip as a “political hit job against him.”

“There’s a video that’s out, that’s a compilation of me saying the N-word,” said Rogan, in a clip posted to his Instagram. “It’s a video that’s made of clips taken out of context of me of 12 years of conversations on my podcast, and it’s all smushed together, and it looks fuckin’ horrible, even to me.”
