Joshua James is cut from the classic mould of the songwriter.

The simplicity in his songs both in construction and production have gained him attention around the world for heartfelt lyrics and gently whispered vocals. This culminated in 2008 when his second full-length album The Sun Is Always Brighter was awarded iTunes’ Best of 2008 Folk Album award. James is joining the legendary Neil Finn on his national tour this March, and has managed to squeeze in several solo headline dates around the country, with a stop at the Brass Monkey in Cronulla and The Vanguard in Newtown amongst them. With supports from LAKYN and Dylan Wright, these shows will showcase some quality songwriting.

See James solo at the Brass Monkey on Friday March 21 and The Vanguard on Sunday March 23.
