Julia Fox has finally opened up about her split with Kanye West, and said she walked away at the “first sign of a red flag”.
West and Fox only dated for six weeks, but the pair manage to rack up headline after headline about their fleeting romance.
“I was just going day by day and seeing where it went,” Fox told ES Magazine of her former relationship. “It was just like, he still wants to hang out with me today, let’s do it. And then, real life set in and the lifestyle wasn’t sustainable. I couldn’t fly away once a week. And I tapped out at the first sign of a red flag.”
When the interviewer pressed Fox about what the red flag was, she responded; ”unresolved issues he was dealing with. He had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have the time for it, or the energy.”
The couple famously debuted their relationship in a bizarre interview article that saw Fox pen a “letter” about how she met the rapper, and share details about how he liked to dress her.
“I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection. His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night,” begins the descriptive letter.
“We decided to keep the energy going and fly back to New York City to see Slave Play. Ye’s flight landed at six and the play was at seven and he was there ON TIME. I was impressed. After the play we chose to do dinner at Carbone which is one of my favorite restaurants. Obviously.”

Fox then went on to share that Ye booked a hotel room for her and filled it with clothes for her wear, which is giving Kimmy K deja vu vibes.
“At the restaurant, Ye directed an entire photo shoot for me while people dined! The whole restaurant loved it and cheered us on while it was happening. After dinner Ye had a surprise for me. I mean, I’m still in shock. Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment.
