So far, 2022 pop culture news reads like a dramatic novel on the Kanye West vs Kim Kardashian vs Julia Fox feud.

If you’ve somehow managed to avoid the ~drama~, here’s a quick refresher. Kanye West started dating his new girlfriend Julia Fox and instantly made their relationship very public. The rapper has also been caught up in a bitter feud with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian which has played out for the world to watch on social media.

While there isn’t necessarily a direct link of bad blood between Julia Fox and Kim Kardashian, because they are both women who have dated West, the internet has tried to create this exact narrative.

It’s something that Fox has called out in her latest ‘Call Her Daddy’ interview.

“The tabloids and social media are always comparing women,” host Alex Cooper began. “I know, it’s so sad,” chimed in Fox.

Cooper added, “and you keep getting compared to his ex, why do you think they’re doing that?”

“Well, we’ve worn some similar looks which I knew at the time wearing it…But I thought it was cool she was wearing it. It is unfortunate because women are just always being pitted against each other,” she said.

“Obviously there’s 10 years of history that they have prior, and I don’t want to ever step out of line and speak on something that I have no place speaking on,” she added.

“If anything I feel like the conversation should be, wow it’s amazing to see how heavily influenced Kim was by Kanye. If anything I feel like that’s kind of what that shows but obviously people want to run with the nastier narrative and make people feel bad.”

Fox went on to reveal that before becoming an actress, she ran a clothing line and her products were worn by the Kardashians sold in their ‘Dash’ stores.

During the same interview, Fox was asked if she was jealous of Kim Kardashian, a question that’s been thrown around a lot due to West’s constant stream of social media posts about his ex wife.

Julia replied: “No, not really. Listen, I’m sure there’s still some sort of residual feelings. It’s normal. It’s human. I also know that he’s with me now. That’s all that matters.”
