R&B singer-songwriter and talented milkshake maker, Kelis, is set to visit Sydney in July.

Australia has a strong connection with Kelis, as her recordTasty went gold with singles ‘Milkshake’ and ‘Trick Me’ hitting platinum. Her new album,Food, is out now. The album is likely related to her passion for cooking. In fact, Kelis graduated fromLe Cordon Bleu culinary school as a saucier, and has even released a cookbook.You can read it, but unfortunately she’ll have to charge (sorry).

Kelis plays The Hi-Fi on Wednesday July 23.
