Fast food fans, listen up – the most requested burger in KFC Australia history is officially returning this week.

The much-missed Tower Burger hasn’t been available since a short stint in 2021, and reading its list of tasty ingredients, it’s difficult to comprehend why.

The returning creation has an Original Recipe fillet coated with the renowned 11 Secret Herbs and Spices. There’s also tangy tomato sauce, a classic cheese slice, delicious mayo, fresh lettuce, as well as a crispy hash brown.

And for those who like to live on the edge, the Original Recipe fillet can be swapped out for a spicier Zinger fillet for some extra kick.

Tower Burger fans will have to act quick, though, because the fan favourite is coming back for a good time, not a long time – it’s only available from Tuesday, June 13th to Monday, July 10th, at participating KFC restaurants nationwide.

“After two years of fans around the country passionately calling for its return, we are so thrilled to bring the legendary Tower Burger back to our menus nationwide,” Sally Spriggs, KFC Australia CMO, says. “For all those who have been patiently waiting to get their hands on this delicious burger again, we encourage you to get in quick as you never know when it’ll make its next return to Aussie shores.”

It’s not the first fan favourite menu item that KFC has brought back to Australia this year. Last month, Original Mashies returned for a limited time only.

Original Mashies are bite-sized balls of mashed potato that are coated in KFC’s signature herbs and spices. They were first introduced to the menu in 2009 and were a huge hit with customers. However, they were discontinued in 2011.

After years of requests from fans, KFC decided to bring them back to stores nationwide from May 16th to June 12th.
