Disney has been throwing out live action remakes like there’s no tomorrow recently. From The Jungle Book, to Beauty and the Beast, and the forthcoming live action The Lion King and Aladdin, they’re on a roll.

However, it seems that they may have finally stumbled with the trailer for Disney Channel‘s live action Kim Possible film giving us our first look at what a bad live action recreation looks like. Featuring newcomer Sadie Stanley as the titular character, the film premieres in February next year. Check out the trailer below.

The trailer has us feeling like this might not be the jewel in Disney’s live-action crown. From the low budget graphics, to the very ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ fight scenes, and the very much uninspired casting and costuming of villainess/everyone’s low key childhood hero; Shego. It all looks like it’s going to be a bit shit really…

Then again, we do have to accept that this is a Disney Channel film so they don’t have the multi-million dollar budgets of Disney’s big theatrical releases. So we’ll have to take what we can get. Other stars of the film include Buffy The Vampire Slayer‘s Alyson Hannigan, and Consequence Of Sound reports Patton Oswalt will star as Professor Dementor whom he voiced in the original series.

Whilst this film adaptation may never live up to the show we all know and love, all we can hope for is that they don’t ruin Christina Milan’s iconic theme song.
