Konrad Bien has reportedly said that Abbie Chatfield “friend-zoned him” and “stopped answering his calls” before he headed off to Buenos aires, Argentina to film the upcoming season of The Challenge.

It’s been heavily reported that Bien and Chatfield split prior to him leaving, and while The Masked Singer host hasn’t confirmed the split, she certainly didn’t deny the breakup, either.

“Hey!!!! I’ve seen the articles about Konrad,” she wrote on her Instagram story earlier this month.

“He’s out of the country so I won’t be commenting on anything until he’s home. Can everyone not be so dramatic pls and relax. Both of us are totally okay,” she added.

“And can the paparazzi get their daily pic of me picking up dog poo then let me get a coffee in peace also.”

Daily Mail reported that Bien told his The Challenge cast mates that he’d split with Chatfield after ten months together, and had been hooking up with fellow The Bachelor alum Megan Marx on set.

Now, the same publication has quoted a source who stated that Chatfield pushed Bien away and “friend zoned him” before he headed off to Argentina.

“Konrad was telling everyone on set that Abbie had stopped answering his calls and texts weeks before he jetted overseas,” an onset spy told the publication.

“He doesn’t know where he stands with Abbie. She was telling him she wants to focus on her career, and doesn’t have time to spend with him.”

The source added: “She sort of just friend-zoned him before he was due to start filming.”

Speaking of Bien’s reported romance with Marx, a source told the publication: “Oh, my gosh! The drama is insane. Konrad is sleeping with Megan [Marx].”

“Konrad said he was single and his relationship with Abbie was over because she broke up with him.”

They added, “On the first night of filming he hooked up with Megan. I didn’t know what was happening,” they said.

“It was awkward because he was all over her the second we started filming. It was like he was trying to make Brooke [Blurton] jealous because she was there too.”
