Konrad Bien and Megan Marx’s hook-up sesh on The Challenge is one of the most memorable scenes on an otherwise fairly unmemorable season of The Challenge.
The Bachelor stars got hot and heavy in the hot tub while their fellow competitors watched on.
However, while the pair is essentially reality TV royalty, Konrad’s latest comment sounds as though the romantic relationship between them was dead before it even started.
Speaking about their tryst, the former The Bachelor star implied that his hook-up with Megan was a once-off.
“Megan’s a great girl and she’s very open and she’s very intelligent,” he told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia.
“And I guess it was just nice to have someone inside of [the house] to be intimate with or to have that understanding that you can do that and it doesn’t mean that you have to date or it doesn’t have to be anything serious. It’s just two adults having fun and that’s what it is, and it doesn’t need to be more than that.
“We’re still friends, we still talk and we both understood at that time it probably wasn’t going to be any more than that after. It is what it is.”

Konrad made it to the final four of Brooke Blurton’s season of The Bachelorette, but he arguably gained more notoriety when he dates former The Bachelor contestant Abbie Chatfield after he was eliminated.
Abbie and Konrad broke up after ten months together, and he told the publication that speculation surrounding his romantic relationships makes dating “difficult” for him.
It can also make it difficult too when you do meet someone that you do like and they want to be private about it – obviously, I want to as well. It can add extra pressure that you don’t need and don’t want and it can kind of ruin a good thing.
“So it’s hard to navigate and it is quite interesting that people would be so interested in it. But I guess by putting yourself up for a TV show and putting yourself in the public eye you’ve got to expect that sort of thing.”
