It’s all treat and no trick at Krispy Kreme Australia today, with free doughnuts on offer to celebrate Halloween.
The doughnut chain announced the special Halloween giveaway on Instagram this morning, with free Original Glazed Doughnuts being given out to customers today.
There’s a catch, of course, but it’s a very fair one, with only customers dressed up in their Halloween costume being given the free treat.
So if your Halloween party – like a lot of people – took place over the weekend (who has a party on a Monday night?), then put on your costume once more in the name of free doughnuts.
There’s only 1 free Original Glazed per customer, and the offer is available today only, so you’ll have to act fast.
A range of Halloween-themed doughnuts are also on offer in-store, or at 7-Eleven and selected Woolworths stores around the country. You can find the full list of Krispy Kreme Australia stores on the official website.
In other food news, Aussies seem to be noticing that eating out at the pub is cheaper or at least costs the same as eating fast food.

While fast food has always been viewed as one of the cheapest ways of eating out, that seems to no longer be the case as price gouging continues to keep the prices of fast food high.
“Where I live, it is now officially cheaper to buy lunch at the pub than McDonald’s,” a Reddit user from the NSW Hunter Valley posted last week, with the resultant thread prompting further discussion on the high prices of fast food.
“Pretty much all the pubs in town do $14 lunch specials … served on a plate with proper cutlery,” the Reddit user continued. For comparison, a large burger combo at Macca’s, KFC, Hungry Jack’s, and Red Rooster all cost over $12 on average.
