Kyle Sandilands only announced that his fiancee Tegan Kynaston was pregnant last month, but he’s already revealed the unique name the couple plan to call their baby.
The couple announced that they were expecting in February during an episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show. Kynaston appeared on the segment to share the happy news.
“You’ve seen me through ups and downs,” Sandilands said cryptically to Jackie O. “You’ve seen me nearly get fired, nearly get cancelled. Am I going to keep doing this job, am I going to do something different in my life, what can I do at 50-years-old that I’ve never done in my life before?”
The shock jock then went on to shout, “I’m having a baby, baby!”.
During the segement Sandilands said he wanted “either a girl … or a little gay son”. Last month it was confirmed that the couple were having a boy, as two planes streaked coloured blue smoke overhead a yacht they were on for their gender reveal party.
On this morning’s show, Sandilands co-host Jackie-O suggested that her daughter and his future son could team up for a radio show.
“I was thinking, because Kyle’s having a boy, in 20 years’ time, like, it’s the ‘Kitty and whatever-you’re-going-to-call-your-kid Show’,” she said.

“Otto. That’s what we’re going to call him,” Sandilands quipped revealing the name he and Kynaston plan to call their son.
However, Sandilands also revealed that some family members aren’t quite on board with their chosen name.
“Even Tegan’s mum goes, ‘Oh, there’s no need to rush into a name,'” Sandilands said.
“And my Aunty Jill went, ‘What sort of stupid name is that?'”
Kynaston and Sandilands met when she became his personal assistant on the radio show, and have been dating since 2019.
