Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s love story is truly one for the ages. The iconic couple have weathered scandal, career shake-ups and even a few lengthy breaks over the last ten years, only to come out on top as the ultimate celeb powerhouse.

Last week, the lovers tied the knot, confirming the affair over Instagram sending the world into heart-string-tugging hysterics. Considering we’ve all been rooting for the two for so long, it seems many of us took the opportunity to reflect on the journey its been.

Amazon Prime Video streaming service confirmed that streams of The Last Song – the movie in which Miley and Liam met and fell in love – rose by 2000% after news that the couple had wedded broke.

“Miley and Liam’s wedding had everyone feeling sentimental this week. After news broke Wednesday, we saw a 2000% spike in streams of The Last Song. We love a happy ending. Congrats and !”

The Last Song hit cinemas initially in 2010, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name. Whilst the response to the film was mixed (to say the least), it seems the world is too swept up in nostalgia and sentimentality to bother with acclaim.
