Lazy Oaf has just dropped a new collaboration that pays homage to the Roger Hargreaves iconic children’s book series, Mr. Men. The new capsule collection truly taps into the most tender crevices of our childhood nostalgia.

The range heroes characters Mr. Lazy, Mr. Greedy, Mr. Happy. Mr Wrong and of course, the inimitable Walter the Worm. The 17-piece collection features knits, jackets, trousers, shirts, tees, socks and other accessories. We’re not quite sure how we managed to get through life this long without corduroy trousers embroidered with Mr. Men motifs.

“From Mr. Happy to Mr. Greedy and (of course) Mr. Lazy, the characters’ unmistakeable personalities, names and physical attributes tap into a little bit of us all,” shares Lazy Oaf. “Silliness and humour are at the core of the books, charming us with their colourful illustrations and satisfying simplicity of the stories and fictional worlds the characters inhabit.”

Roger Hargreaves published the first six Mr. Men books in 1971. The first character Hargreaves created was Mr. Tickle, who was inspired by his Adam, who once asked him “What does a tickle look like?.” And our favourite, orange, squiggly armed hero was born.

The collection is available now, and you can find it here.
