All die-hard fans of The Simpsons know that the video game every boy wants for Christmas is Bonestorm.

Unfortunately for Bart Simpson, Marge refused to buy her son such a violent game in the episode ‘Marge Not Be Proud’ that dropped during the show’s peak: Season 7. Instead, she gifts him the retrospectively awesome Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge.

Any Simpsons fan worth a damn knows how bloody awesome this game is, and now a lad from Canada named Aaron Demeter has created a very real, playable, online version of the game.

The game caught the eye of former writer for The Simpsons Bill Oakley, and she shared the game on Twitter.

Using the original audio files from the episode, the game has everything, even a killer 8-bit opening theme song.

“Can’t get your hands on a copy of Bonestorm but still want the same thrilling experience? Fear not because you now have the opportunity to tee off with one of the greats,” reads the game description.

“Includes many exciting features such as: Number Input, Power Settings and Parking Lot.”

If you’re a coward you can even put the ball into the hole. But with a 3-wood on offer, as it inexplicably was as the game appeared in the TV show, who doesn’t want to select power drive and hit the ball into the parking lot?

Even though it’s perfectly limited in what you can actually do, I’ve been playing it every chance I’ve gotten all day today.

If you really need to re-familiarise yourself with how the gameplay happens in the show itself, peep the clip below.
