Lindsay Lohan is set to make her return to the small screen with the news that the Mean Girls star has inked a multimillion-dollar picture deal with Netflix.
According to the streaming giant, who announced the news on social media, Lohan has signed a deal to star in two more movies following her upcoming holiday rom-com Falling for Christmas, which is set to debut later this year.

In a tweet Tuesday, Netflix wrote in reference to LiLo playing twin sisters in 1998’s The Parent Trap, “The world first fell in love with Lindsay Lohan when she played a set of twins — and Netflix is once again giving the world twice the Lindsay to love through a creative partnership that will see her star in two new films!”
Lindsay also shared her excitement, posting on Instagram: “Exciting things to come! 🤗🎥🍿 @netflixfilm.”
Christina Rogers, Netflix’s director of independent film, said of the deal: “We’re so happy with our collaboration with Lindsay to date, and we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with her. We look forward to bringing more of her films to our members around the world.”

While it’s not yet known what the two flicks will be about, according to Variety, Lohan’s upcoming Netflix rom-com will see her portraying, “A newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress [who] gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia, and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.”
