Lindsay Lohan is part of a new Pepsi campaign that is interesting to say the least – it encourages people to mix Pepsi and milk together for a Christmas treat.
There are two versions of the ad. In the regular version, Lohan can be seen pouring pepsi into a glass and saying “nice” directly to the camera. She then adds a healthy pour of milk to the drink, and says “naughty” to the camera.
The second version is a YouTube ad and shows Lohan tucking into an already poured pilk (pepsi and milk) mixture. “That is one dirty soda, Santa,” the actress tells the camera.
While the mixture may seem completely random to some – pilk’s roots actually date back decades. In the iconic 1970’s sitcom Laverne and Shirley, Penny Marshall’s Laverne regularly drinks a Pepsi and milk mixture. More recently, the concoction has taken off on TikTok.
According to a press release by Pepsi, the drink is intended to be left out for Santa.
“This holiday season, Pepsi is giving milk and cookies – a favorite tradition to leave out for Santa – a surprising and naughty new twist with the introduction of Pilk and Cookies,” it reads.
“For those new to Pilk, it is the delicious and must-have drink that combines the crispness of Pepsi with the subtly sweet and creamy taste of milk, traditionally topped with creamer, and it pairs perfectly with cookies.”

Some social media users have shared their disgust over the unusual drink.
“That’s going to be a hard no from me. No Pilk and Cookies in this house,” said one user. Another commented, “In the slightest, most lukewarm defense of this concoction imaginable, melted root beer floats still taste fine. That said, “pilk” and its ilk are still a genuinely horrifying concept.”
