YouTube creator and WWE fighter Logan Paul has admitted that he dished out a whopping $7.4 million AUD on a Pikachu Pokemon card.

The social media personality told Kyle and Jackie O that he owns the “most expensive” Pokemon card in the world after someone called into the show and asked about the collector’s item.

“Logan you’ve got the most expensive pokemon card, what’s next on your hit list?” the caller asked.

When a shocked Kyle asked Logan Paul to elaborate, he said: “I spent 5.2 million USD (approx $7.4 million Australian dollars) on a pikachu card.”

He added, “Technically it is co-owned by a group of people. I listed it on a platform that I founded… It’s the most expensive and rarest Pokemon card in the world.”

Kyle asked the WWE fighter if the pricey card was “like a piece of art” and he agreed that it was.

“I wore it out to WrestleMania, actually, as a chain, But it’s in a vault. Safe in a vault,” Logan Paul said.

Logan Paul has previously spoken about the origins of the card, saying: “The Pikachu Illustrator is one of the rarest and most highly coveted Pokémon cards in the world,” said Paul.

“Only 39 were given out to Illustration contest winners in 1998, and this was a purchase for the only one in the world that has been graded a perfect “10.””

Last year, Logan Paul wore the card at his WWE wrestling debut this in April at WrestleMania 38 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA.  The card swung from his neck as he fought with with The Miz for a tag team match against Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

And, the expensive card may have played as some type of good luck charm, as The Miz and Logan Paul won the fight.
