Love Island star Austen’s ex Jasmine Sultana was invited for the show’s ‘Ex Week’, but ended up declining due to this reason.
The latest season of Love Island Australia takes everyone by storm, and not just because of the usual scandalous tidbits we’re lapping up. This time around, the show’s producers decided there wasn’t enough drama on the show and introduced ‘Ex Week’ – where present contestants’ former flames entered the villa.
Some exes, however, preferred for the past to stay in the past.
As reported by So Dramatic!, Austen Bugeja’s ex Jasmine Sultana was also invited to the now infamous ‘Ex Week,’ but declined the offer due to the drama she knew would ensue. She doesn’t need that energy in her life, ya feel?
Sharing a screenshot of a message she received from a troll, Sultana observed that it was the possibility of such trolling and backlash that dissuaded her from entering the villa.
The message in the screenshot read: “Claudia’s hotter than you.” To this, Sultana was seen responding: “Like I give a fuck. Get well soon babe.” Sultana captioned the story: “The audacity of some people.”
She then followed up with another story, where she said: “If I wanted the attack, I would of accepted the offer to go on the show but I clearly didn’t for a reason [sic]. Leave me alone xx.”

Claudia Bonifazio and Austen Bugeja have been one of the favourites for winning this season, but the infamous ‘Ex Week’ put their romance in some serious hot water when 2021 winners Mitch and Tina returned and dominated the screen with their… romance?
The show’s fans were reportedly pissed that so much time of airtime was dedicated to Mitch and Tina’s relationship, despite the fact that they won in 2021 and had already broken up.
