Love Island Australia winner Tina Provis has revealed that she was “embarrassed” about the very public breakdown of her relationship with partner and co-star Mitch Hibberd after the show wrapped.
Provis took to Instagram to conduct a Q&A session and was asked what “the hardest thing” was about her break up with Mitch.
“The hardest part was the embarrassment that it didn’t work out. I felt self conscious and overly critical of myself as the relationship broken down and how it continued to play out so publicly,” Tina began.
“I feel guilty to admit I was embarrassed by the situation. I had hundreds of lovely supportive and caring messages but at the time it was hard to shake the feeling that each message was a reminder that I’d been publicly embarrassed.
“I look back now and know i have nothing to feel ashamed of. I’ve worn my heart on my sleeve and gave it my all, everything happens for a reason. Cest la vie xxx.
“I kept myself productive, worked on collaborations with brands that my 13 year old self would have dreamed of, made sure to fill my cup with things I love: my friends, family, good food, staying active and getting as much travel in as possible.”

Tina coupled up with Mitch on the show. However, the pair had a rough ride when he “turned his head” for “bombshell” Emily Ward when she arrived at the house.
Tina and Mitch eventually made amends and made their relationship part way through the series, and ended up winning $50,000 to share. The couple continued to date outside of the show but split three months after the show wrapped. It was later revealed that Mitch hooked up with co-star Emilyjust days after their breakup.
