New York guitar-slinger Lucky Peterson has locked in his first Sydney show in decades, ahead of his comeback performance at this year’s Bluesfest.

Lucky Peterson released his first record at five years of age in 1969. Since then, the rest has been history. Best known for his hit records Lucky Strikes! and Triple Play, he has worked as a musician all his life having performed with Mavis Staples, Etta James, Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland and Little Milton, alongside headlining at Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago, considered one of the premier blues club in the world.
