Hopefully this isn’t too cheesy, but get ready to melt over Maccas new line of items that are absolutely chock-full of cheese.

Sorry to those with lactose intolerance, but hooray for us cheese lovers – starting today, Maccas is launching their new cheesy range, which will feature two new cheese covered burgers, plus celebrate the comeback of their mozzarella sticks.

Step aside plain ‘ol hamburger, because the new cheesy beef burger is there to fill your wildest cheese-filled dreams by boasting a fried cheese patty on top of the usual offerings of a beef patty topped with lettuce and tomato chilli jam.

Chicken more your fancy? Well, the cheesy range steps up the Maccas chicken range by offering a fried cheese patty on top of your choice of either grilled or fried chicken fillet, topped with lettuce and tomato chili jam, also.

Need a bit more cheese in your life? Say goodbye to fries and hello to mozzarella sticks. Now, we can mostly agree that mozzarella is one of the superior cheeses, and it takes on an entirely new form when popped into a stick-like shape, deep fried, and dipped into an array of sauces, including the new tomato chilli dipping sauce.

Jo Feeny, McDonald’s Australia Marketing Director notes that this new cheese line is set to be brilliant: “We know there are a lot of cheese fans out there, and the newest burgers on our menu are a cheesy twist on some of our customers’ Macca’s favourites.

“Our cheese patty is the perfect combination of melty cheeses including parmesan, cheddar and mozzarella, made from 100% Australian milk,” she notes, while the  “mozzarella sticks were a huge hit last year, so we had to bring them back as part of the Cheesy range.”
