It’s a big week for regular Macca’s goers as the fast food giant is finally launching a points-based system to make those Macca’s runs very valuable.

From Thursday, March 3rd onwards, can start earning handy points on a wide range of popular Macca’s items thanks to MyMacca’s Rewards.

After being successfully trialled in South Australia last year, the program is now being unveiled nationwide. It’s the first time Macca’s have run a national loyalty program in Australia – basically it’s a game changer for the country.

This is how it works: you get 100 points for every $1 spent on eligible food and drink items via the MyMacca’s app. Once you hit the 2,500 points mark, you can then redeem your points on a range of popular menu items. We’re talking a a McCafé coffee of any size, a humble Hamburger, a small soft drink, an Apple Pie or apple slices.

5,000 points will give you the choice of a bacon & egg mcmuffin, a cheeseburger, large fries, a mcflurry, or crispy snack wrap. And if you somehow make it to 7,500 points, you can redeem your points for a classic Big Mac, a Quarter pounder, a McChicken, a Filet-O-Fish, or a Classic Chicken Salad.

“The only thing better than enjoying your Macca’s faves is being rewarded for it,” Tobi Fukushima, marketing manager, McDonald’s Australia, says. “With the launch of MyMacca’s Rewards, customers all over Australia can now earn points for every dollar spent, redeemable against some of our most iconic menu items.

“The rewards program is a way for us to give back to our loyal customers by providing greater convenience, value and rewards. The more you earn, the more you unlock, so jump onto the MyMacca’s app and start collecting those points!”
