If you’re blanking on what to get your significant other this Valentine’s day – and said partner is a Maccas fiend, then the fast-food chain has the perfect gift idea for you come February 14th.
The fast food chain is releasing a special Valentine’s Day edition of their beloved McNuggets, and the limited edition snack is available from today until Feb 16th.
The new offering sees a cardboard love heart poking out from the top of the nuggets box, that reads ‘I’m lovin’ you’.
“We know how much Macca’s fans love our Chicken McNuggets, so what better way to spread the love this Valentine’s Day than with our most romantic box yet,” Amanda Nakad, marketing director at McDonald’s Australia said.
“Whether you’re dropping in for a quick bite, picking up dinner for a Galentine’s Day gathering, or using McDelivery to send treats to someone special, Macca’s has you covered this Valentine’s Day.”
In some very disappointing news, the nuggets themselves won’t actually be heart shaped (boo), they’ll just come in a romantic lil’ box.

Of course, if Valentine’s isn’t your jam – and you’d rather not be reminded of the “greeting card holiday day”, you can still order the standard box for your nugs.
On the other hand, If you’re more of a quantity over romance kinda person, there’s some exciting nugget news for you, too. From February 16th, the fast food chain will be adding a massive 40-piece packs of nuggets to their menu.
In fact, the new item is so big that the junk food juggernaut can’t even fit all the nuggets in one box, instead they’ll be sold in two packs of 20. They’ve upgraded their sauce options too, bringing out a new Spicy Sticky BBQ Sauce on the same date.
