MAFS and Love Island Australia star Al Perkins has finally opened up about where his relationship with Jessica Losurdo is at – and we’re afraid it’s not good news.
Speaking to So Dramatic!, Perkins revealed that while the two had tried to stay together after leaving the villa, it sadly wasn’t in the cards for them. According to Perkins, they’re just ‘friends at the moment.’
Perkins told the publication: “We tried to be friends after the show. It was probably better that way. We’re still like really good friends to this day.” Perkins explained that their relationship didn’t go south as soon as they left the show – after trying ‘over a period of time,’ they decided to be friends.
He also added that they talk to each other fairly regularly: “We still FaceTime every second day and things like that. I’m really grateful to have her in my life and for the journey we went on. But we just happen to be friends at the moment.”
But fans who are heartbroken over the revelation might want to hold off on nursing their wounds. In her own chat with So Dramatic!, Losurdo claimed that the pair were still ‘seeing where it goes’.
“We still talk a lot. We see each other a lot, we’re still talking with each other a lot. Yeah, no, we’re good.” she said.

In November, speculations about Al’s relationship status were aplenty when some comments from Brent Leon and his girlfriend pointed to him dating someone outside of the show. In October, he’d been spotted out and about with a mystery woman in Melbourne – hours later, he also shared a picture of an AirBnb which featured two glasses of wine.
